They sold me a car with a 1 year warranty from auto protect. When I called auto protect they said that we do not deal with these people anymore.

Bought a car this summer from Surrey Motor World and this is where the bad story begins. Payed for a Gold warranty with Halfords which has NOT been activated. Called them a thousand times, but did nothing. Their site is now down, and auto trader has removed their cars. Don't really know what to do. Bought a car and within the first week the engine management light came on. Car had done less than 200 miles! Cutting a long story short, now find that dealer is in financial difficulties (check companies house!) and warranty I was promised is nowhere to be seen! So far spend over £600 on repairs...
