Check your warranty!!

I bought my Freelander in July 2020. We were told that it came with a months warranty. Within that month the engine suffered a catastrophic failure. Instead of honouring the warranty Chepstow Trade Centre tried everything to avoid paying out. It has taken 7 months for them to finally pay out £1000, via County Court Proceedings. (This did not cover the whole cost of repair but we had to cut our losses)!

I am quite sure that most people have a positive experience when buying a car from this company and, of course, one of the main reasons for buying through a company is for ‘peace of mind’.

However, unfortunately when things went wrong, Chepstow Trade Centre did not step up to the plate.

I would hate for anyone else to suffer in the same way that we have so please check and double check the warranty given with your car.

Worst experience ever!
Paid a deposit, the car came with fresh MOT and no advisories...looked clean and tidy too. That all changed when I drove it home. Felt like it was draggong a plough. Turned out car had a misfire though they denied this at start and just turned engine management light off. Highly recommended
I bought a Vauxhall Astra and both Tim and Mark made sure I bought the right car that suited my needs within my budget they were friendly and courteous and give you peace of mind by making sure the vehicle gets a thorough check before it leaves the forecourt. Outstanding....
I live some 3 hours from Chepstow Trade Centre. I found a car i liked the look of so i filled out the enquiry form. At this point one of the directors, Mark promptly contacted me and we discussed the car in detail. As i live some distance from CTC Mark was more than happy to send me through copies and pictures documents such as MOT for me to view as well as plenty pictures of the car itself. I mad
