Check your warranty!!
I bought my Freelander in July 2020. We were told that it came with a months warranty. Within that month the engine suffered a catastrophic failure. Instead of honouring the warranty Chepstow Trade Centre tried everything to avoid paying out. It has taken 7 months for them to finally pay out £1000, via County Court Proceedings. (This did not cover the whole cost of repair but we had to cut our losses)!
I am quite sure that most people have a positive experience when buying a car from this company and, of course, one of the main reasons for buying through a company is for ‘peace of mind’.
However, unfortunately when things went wrong, Chepstow Trade Centre did not step up to the plate.
I would hate for anyone else to suffer in the same way that we have so please check and double check the warranty given with your car.
