TT VED rip off
Car was ordered last june 2021
list price was under the 40k VED premium tax by just over £100 inc extras , i was well aware what happens when you go over.
Car was built in january 22 , and audi put their prices up on 1st jan .no matter the original list price was honoured ok, but because the list price had increased when it came to register the car in march unknown to me this had affected the VED and i copped for the premium tax dispite not paying the vehicle increase as this took the list price beyong 40k.apparently the DVLA goes by the price when registered and not the price paid.
The dealership never told me this and never told me when i collected the car in march,i never got a invoice at the time of delivery either,i had told request that later. so, the point is they should notified me at the time of the increase and if they had done so i could have made a ajustment to the extras to keep it down below the 40k after all the increase took place before the car was even built so ,i was never given the op
