Typical used car dealer

After waiting 20 minutes for the guy to show up, he refused to let me take a test drive until we'd agreed a "perfect condition" price for me to barter down from. At one point the salesman tried to convince me the VW Passat was a "VW Passat Transporter" (a model which doesn't exist) when I pointed out that the cambelt was almost due for replacement. He then offered to replace the cambelt at cost, ON TOP of the "perfect condition" price we had agreed. He refused to give me a written offer.

This company is an absolute nightmare to buy from. I bought a Suzuki Jimny described as ‘good used condition’. I took it for an MOT the day after I bought it where I was told the car had £1500 of rust to the chassis and fuel pipes. Another £2000 worth of parts needed replacing too( clutch, brakes, wheel bearing, alternator, gearbox diff). Also they put a ‘new’ battery in on the day of collection,

Dishonest Trader
Claims cars are HPI clear when in actual fact they have previously been written off. Refuses to accept responsibility. Avoid!
