Limited warranty. Unhelpful Attitude
The coolant in the car kept emptying in the week or so after buying the car and there was evidence of an oil leak, so I took it back to Select Cars SW (SCSW) to sort, among other issues. They said they tested it and there were no problems with oil or water but were unable to produce paperwork to verify upon request. They were also rude and defiant. The problems persisted and I claimed under the warranty. SCSW didn't give me warranty paperwork but the details were on their website. However, despite the appearance on the website, the warranty only pays for certain named parts and it cost me £170 to fix the water and oil leaks in addition to what the warranty company paid. However, the fixing of the water leak revealed that there was already a head gasket/cylinder head failure. I claimed under warranty again and told SCSW about the issue who at first appeared concerned and spoke to the repairing garage. Despite what the repairing garage told them, they (rudely) concluded that it was not a pre-existing issue and
