Viewing & Test drive experience

What can I say . . .

One of the strangest car viewing & attempted test drive experiences that I've come across to date.

Me & the misses drove around 30 minutes to go and view a car from Aldermarston branch. Upon arrival we parked up in the customer car park & proceeded to the building where all the pointy shoed & spikey haired 20 something car salesmen reside. And we were not dispointed, as we were indeed greeted by a pointy shoed & spikey haired 20 something car salesmen. We expressed our interest in our chosen car & off we went to the car. It was unlocked for us & we were left alone with the car to view it, which we liked. After viewing the car we proceeded back to the pointy shoed & spikey haired 20 something car salesmen's office. We sat down & we expressed our interest in the car, it was a nice car. However, I did point a few things with the car, such as all 4 brake pads were quite low, the rear brake discs needed replacing & all the tyres were all at 3mm (had a tread depth gauge handy). Seriously think again ! Avoid
Drove for 3 hours. Arrived and was told couldn’t test drive the car till we agreed to purchase the vehicle. The vehicle had gone up £2K from the online price and the email confirmation price. Eventually he gave in and we got to drive it after 40 mins. Next we agreed to purchase the car at the additional cost as he wouldn’t back down then came all the other costs. Never buy from this garage
AVOID!!!! They sold me a car back in January, the engine light came on, on the journey home and this problem has never been sorted even though they have had a car back numerous times. Now they are ignoring emails and not even phoning me back. Awful customer service
Sascron are appalling. They told us that a car was reserved for us and made an appointment for us to come and collect it. They guaranteed that the car would be available. We travelled for 90 minutes to Reading and 5 minutes before arrival they texted us to say that they had sold the car. bullying tactics used
We are a medium sized company who regularly purchase vehicles without issue or complaint. We conducted negotiations in a polite business like manor at all times. In summary: Sascron had £15,500.00 of our money which allowed them to bully us into a deal which included paying in full for the car by the end of month which was a couple of days. BEWARE!!! Cowboy dealership
Don’t buy a car from these guys!!!! I purchased an Audi etron and as soon as they took my deposit they didn’t care or have time for me. Just so you’re aware once you pay a deposit it’s non refundable so they lose all the excitement in selling to you once they have the deposit. from them - We drove down expecting I can drive away an electric car on the same day after part exchanging my car but NOTHING WORKED with them - 1. Agreed a price on my part-x to collect car next day. But afterwards they have changed delivery dates and finally after three weeks when I went down to collect the MG EV care on my working day they have REDUCED part-x value after driving out the car

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY Horrendous service, from the moment we stepped into the Reading branch of this car showroom it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We were lied too and conned out of £200 which we still haven’t had refunded. The gentleman we dealt with is a bare faced lier, broken promises and how he still has a job is beyond me.
