DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY

After reporting to Sascron a fault with my vehicle 3 months 6 days after purchasing it and only 6 days after the 3 month warranty expired. Sascron informed me that they would not compensate for any repairs needed.

The vehicle purchased was under 3 years old with 37000 miles on the clock when purchased.

I was told by the sales person I bought the car from that his manager had told him that as far as Sascron were concerned “I ROLLED THE DICE AND TOOK MY CHANCES”

If you still decide to purchase a car from this company after reading this review, please ensure that you cover yourself completely as once you hand the money over, they will not take responsibility if it goes wrong.

We can appreciate your frustration in this matter. However, as you are aware, Sascron Ltd provide a three month warranty that covers engine and gearbox. There is a time limit to this warranty as there is a time limit to any warranty, including manufacturers. We stress the importance of purchasing an additional warranty for your own peace of mind as cars can, and do, breakdown. It would seem you decided not to purchase an additional warranty and therefore Sascron Ltd cannot be responsible for your decision. The vehicle was pre delivery inspected prior to handover by our workshop and left our premises fit for purpose.

You have clearly stated that a three month warranty was provided and the faults occurred outside of this period. Unfortunately because you chose not to protect your vehicle with an additional warranty, Sascron Ltd cannot be held responsible.

Seriously think again ! Avoid

Drove for 3 hours. Arrived and was told couldn’t test drive the car till we agreed to purchase the vehicle. The vehicle had gone up £2K from the online price and the email confirmation price. Sascron are appalling. They told us that a car was reserved for us and made an appointment for us to come and collect it. They guaranteed that the car would be available. We are a medium sized company who regularly purchase vehicles without issue or complaint. We conducted negotiations in a polite business like manor at all times. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY Horrendous service, from the moment we stepped into the Reading branch of this car showroom it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We were lied too and conned out of £200 which we still haven’t had refunded. The gentleman we dealt with is a bare faced lier, broken promises and how he still has a job is beyond me.
