do not buy from this company! Warranty not worth anything!
Purchased a Citroen c4 on the 4/07/14 and have within 7 weeks have major problems with it! Phoned Purecars on Tuesday only to be told that "it's not their problem". I contacted Silver plus who the warranty is with, and was told to take the car to Halfords auto centre, Gosport (their recommended garage). There I had to pay £49.97 for a diagnostic report to be carried out. Once this had been done and Halfords had reported their findings to Silver plus, they were told that the work would not be covered by the warranty!! So I have a major oil leak, water leak. The auxiliary belt and cam belt are nearly both gone too. To do all the work that needs to be done to rectify (and there is a lot)this is at a cost of £681.22. The best bit to this is Halfords say it is a problem that the dealer would have been very aware of!! And that they have a record of the car coming into them in 2013, and that they whoever brought it in very aware it had an oil leak. I have now sort advice from the Consumer advice who have told me that Pure cars has a legal right under the sale of goods act to either refund, repair, or replace. Amazingly every time I ring them the phone goes straight through to voice mail!!! I only brought this car because I thought I had the safety of a warranty behind me!! How wrong I am it's worth nothing! Do not buy a car from this company!!!
