Pre Sale Service

I purchased a car, a 56 reg, with 22K genuine miles on the clock. The company carried out a pre sales service and MOT. However, after purchase I discovered there was no service record of the timing belt having been changed during its life. I questioned the company who said that they had examined the belt visually - it was OK and didn't need changing . They refused to carry out the timing belt change despite referring them to the manufacturers service recommendations.

NOTE: 14/06/2015 Murdo Murchison have now agreed and have completed the changing of the timing belt on my car at no charge. Pity it took so long for it to happen
