Avoid this dealer
Marshall & Sons Motors Ltd are without doubt one of the worst dealers I have dealt with.
I purchased a Porsche 911 for £43,750 and within days of collection serious faults became apparent. An independent inspection by Porsche West London found a coolant leak, failing water pump, faulty lighting, leaking driveline components, poor bumper fitment, corrosion and underbody deterioration. These issues clearly existed prior to sale.
I exercised my right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, providing evidence, but was met with resistance and denial, resulting in a lengthy legal dispute. Porsche West London were surprised by the vehicle’s condition given its recent MOT.
After months of legal preparation and expert reports, the dealer refunded the full purchase price before the case reached court.
I have reported the matter to the DVSA and Trading Standards.
Prospective buyers should draw their own conclusions, but I strongly advise avoiding this dealer.
