Timer belt done by a dealer

Timer belt. A dealer who gets the timer belt wrong and only after threatening to make it into a court case pays back the price of the timer belt repair. I sold my MX5 at a MASSIVE loss because of the fact the car had no acceleration any more. The car was a danger on the road. I went back to the dealer but they insisted they were the specialists The guy (a mechanic himself) that bought it for a couple of quid phoned me later to confirm the timing on the belt was wrong. He offered to help if it were to come to a court case. We are talking about a Dealer here! Before and after this I had my repairs done by a good garage that takes all makes. Only for this occasion I thought I am not taking any risks.
