Tried to sell us a display car

No complaints about the salesperson. He was very kind during the test-drive and during the discussion about the price. But his manager tried to sell us a display car at a price out of our budget.. and there was no way to reach an agreement on the price of a new car. As a strategy to persuade us to buy the display car, they told us that the car would have been delivered in 3 months' time (12 weeks). My advice: if a potential customer wants to buy a new car, he probably would like to choose its configuration (as opposed to who is buying an used car).

Dreadful! A main dealership with the ethics of a dodgy 1970's car lot owner! My 85 year old Father bought and paid for a used Vauxhall. Promised delivery a week later. After 10 days and many, many broken promises and non-returned phone calls from the "used car sales manager
