Wanted another SUV, a car isn't comfortable + I like being up looking out not sat on the road. Carkings came up on my search with a 2005 Jeep Cherokee, 1 owner from new, 39k miles. Looked and sounded a great car. Viewed the car with Richard who gave me the keys and left me to it not hovering over me like most car dealers. I checked outside, inside, elecs, engine, agreed a fair p/x for my SUV and bought the Jeep incl a free six month warranty. Mileage, MOT's and comments are on the DVLA website so easy to check what the car's done. Regarding aftersales service, the DVLA site noted the Carkings MOT check pointed out worn front brake pads, so Carkings had new ones fitted and a new year's MOT issued at no further cost to myself, even paid for a new Jeep Manual. Warranty was useful as the oil dipstick tube snapped off and was repaired with no fuss or cost to me. I fully recommend Carkings. Do your homework, take someone who knows what to look for and don't worry about bad review moaners.

Avoid this place! They offer a warranty but they won't honour it. They sell cars with expensive problems. Within 24h of making the mistake of buying from this place, I noticed a terrible noise. I took it to my local garage and the car was deemed too dangerous to drive! with a repair costing over £800, Carkings ignores all calls (or hang up the phone). They won't honour the warranty. I bought a car from these criminals to find out just before collection that it was not as advertised so I backed out of the deal it has been 7 weeks now and the £6050 has still not been returned do not buy a car from this company

Bought a BMW 325i from these people. Since then I have had to pay thousands of pounds in repairs: gearbox, clutch, airmass meter, sensors, brakes. Cleverly concealed service history (book dropped in water!). I fell for it, stupidly.

Renault Clio purchased
Just wanted to write a review about this place. After reading the bad reviews about Carkings I was sceptical to purchase a car from here. However, the reviews I read couldn't have been more different from the service I received. Friendly and helpful staff. All I experienced was great customer service from a second hand car dealer. Don't let the bad reviews put you off!
