Used car purchased from carkings Bristol

Buying the car was fine. John was good to deal with.

We were told the car hsd 2 keys which we saw but when i collected the car they could only find one, which is disappointing.

The car was MOT'd before we collected but within a week i had problems and had to have work done which should have been picked up on the MOT. John tried for 2 weeks to get me some on the money back which he finally did but it was a struggle.

Would I buy from here again - probably not. From John I would buy a car but not the garage, it was like going back to the old days of Arthur Daly.

Avoid this place! They offer a warranty but they won't honour it. They sell cars with expensive problems. Within 24h of making the mistake of buying from this place, I noticed a terrible noise. I took it to my local garage and the car was deemed too dangerous to drive! with a repair costing over £800, Carkings ignores all calls (or hang up the phone). They won't honour the warranty. I bought a car from these criminals to find out just before collection that it was not as advertised so I backed out of the deal it has been 7 weeks now and the £6050 has still not been returned do not buy a car from this company

Very happy with our purchase from car kings, very friendly and competant service. Car fully serviced , they fitted a nice Kenwood cd player too in the price which was very reasonable. So happy we are going back to buy another car.

Bought a BMW 325i from these people. Since then I have had to pay thousands of pounds in repairs: gearbox, clutch, airmass meter, sensors, brakes. Cleverly concealed service history (book dropped in water!). I fell for it, stupidly.

Just wanted to write a review about this place. After reading the bad reviews about Carkings I was sceptical to purchase a car from here. However, the reviews I read couldn't have been more different from the service I received. Friendly and helpful staff. All I experienced was great customer service from a second hand car dealer. Don't let the bad reviews put you off!
