Hard Sell Spivs

I went today to buy a car for my daughter. The prices looked reasonable and just wanted a basic car. Found out they charge you £200 over the listed price as an "arrangement fee" so the listings aren't as competitive as you might think. I got over that though.

My main beef is they will not sell you the car in any reasonable timeframe without extras. I spent an hour there, listening to their pitch for GardX paint protector (they have a demo area with real shower exhibit), extra warranty (for 1,2 or 3 years according to paperwork), bodywork protection (video to watch), gap insurance (calculations worked out for you) and of course many finance options and a chat with an FCA registered advisor. Because I just wanted to buy the basic car, even after 90 minutes of hard sell, the manager came over to have another go at upselling. I told him I would leave unless he let me just buy the car but he still persisted in trying to sell more stuff I didn't want. 2 hours lost and left without being allowed to buy the car!

Terrible experience

Car broken down just after 40 days ! Still in their garage now for a new engine i only whish their give my money back and finish with this torment. Please anyone reading this dont step your foot at their shops save your self alot of hassle and stress.

CROOKS - Sold faulty car

Bought a BMW White 3 series from big motoring world on the 15th of July 2024. It was advertised to have driver assistance features such as lane assist, automatic rain sensors on the windshield. Sell faulty cars

Normally I don't give bad reviews but this need to be said to make aware other customers. If I could, I would give no ? I don't recommend this dealer and definitely not the warranty company.
