Disappointed

I had expected more integrity from them because I assumed, with the garage being quite busy when I arrived, and the man who I dealt with appearing very pleasant, that it was popular for good reason. I knew that because I was buying a used car it would have some wear and tear, however because the cars are very tightly packed into the garage , and the one I was looking at was extremely close to the wall, there was alot I didn't see on the passengers side until I got home!

Of course it's my responsibility to check the car out, but surely any car dealer with integrity would point certain things out, such as a very bodged repair job, only visible when you stand back and a broken wing mirror. I don't think it was good value for money in spite of good milage. Service was promised but no evidence of one was given for my records so I doubt it has been done. Do not be taken in!

I purchased a car from Auto Bristol recently. The salesmen were very friendly and professional and the car was reasonably priced. Unfortunately the car broke down on the day of purchase. Because it was sold with free breakdown cover I had it towed back to them. They offered to fix the car straight away but I peferred a refund. Totally recommended.
As a single mum, I decided it would be best to have an independent RAC inspection done on my proposed new car at Auto Bristol. too many worries to list really... dealers went from decent and polite to absolute nightmares, dishonest valuations, cover-ups, broken promises, threats etc. 'take me to court then' (to get my money back for a seriously misrepresented/overpriced car) I will & i'll win but never wanted this.... don't go there

Do not trust their claims about AA cover
Having bought a car less than a month ago from this garage, I was told that it came with a years AA recovery. Today my car broke down and I contacted the garage and the AA to get it recovered, but the AA could find NO record of this garage having any contract with them. I couldn't possibly have got a better car for a lower price anywhere else in Bristol. The guys are real professionals, very good at what they do. Last but not least, the cheaper price doesn't mean a drop in quality - all the cars they sell are in a great condition.
