LOOK BEYOND THE SMILE - honesty and integrity questionable

I bought a car from these people and they came across as decent and friendly

but it was not to last as problems getting hold of the service book for the

car proved fruitless. First, I was assured that the service book was in

their work shop but they could not find it. Then I was told it was with the

warranty company. After a week I called them and they said it was still

with the warranty company and it would be sent out at a later date. This

continued for the next 5 weeks. To date, it has not arrived and I have

given up hope.

I felt that they were very nice and hospitable up to the transaction date,

but after that, they simply did not want to know. I would have

appreciated honesty right from the start rather than these convoluted

stories. If you must deal with them, please make sure you have EVERYTHING

before you leave the premises and do not rely on them saying 'they will

forward it on' - because only you will suffer.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
From start to finish the service offered was appauling - The vehicle purchased was ok however we were promised a full service history was included in the sale (hence the higher price) and turns out this did not even exist! GREAT SERVICE
Having recently purchased a vehicle from 'The Car Factory' I would just like to leave my experience on here for others to view. There was no pushiness from the guys and they were extremely helpful and offered me an excellent deal on my warranty. If looking for car give them a try first.

TERRIBLE - AVOID THIS DEALER. I phoned and made the point to the dealer that it would be a 4hr round trip of 170 miles to see this car and could i confirm the details on the advertisement. He phoned me back 10 mins later and said he had been outside and given it the once over inside and out. Oh Dear! BEWARE
If you must buy a car here, please make sure anything agreed is in writing and that you have photographic evidence of completion before you collect (it might save you the 140 mile, 4 hour, wasted trip I had!). Do not trust these people at their word at all. Any attempts to communicate via email will most likely be ignored. If they say they will service the car, ask what this will entail. Be advis
