Shocking experience
I went to Parkhill cars interested in purchasing one I had seen on autotrader. The saleshand was most helpful and brought the car to us from around the back for us to view and said the owner would be here shortly. My father and I knew what we had to check the car for so checked the engine, electrics, tyres etc and was in full flow of doing this when the owner walked past us with no acknowledgment. After another 10 mins of tinkering we went inside wthe pre-fab office to talk about the car. The owner was sat at his desk and barely acknowdged us as we went into his empty office. My father said we were interested in the car and did he have the paperwork. The car was advertised as having full service history but after seeing the log book it was apparent it didnt and had 5 years missing. We said this was disappointing as we had travelled for over an hour to see the car and it didnt have the FSH. The owner was miffed to say the least at this comment, sarcastically offering to reimburse our fuel, citing human error (humans make errors you know) and didnt apologise for this error. My dad mouthed to me "lets go" after this rant from the owner to which he said yes go, leave, you're not having the car, get off my property. I left and the owner continued to argue with my father and stood up from his desk with threatening behaviour.
I've honestly never come across such a man who clearly has no sales or customer service skills, is rude and obnoxious. If you act in a way to warrant this behaviour you expect it but his rudeness came from nowhere and we hadn't even complained, simply said it was disappointing! It's a shame as the car was of good quality. I would not return and advise anyone not to purchase a car from this man, he doesnt deserve your money.
