Disappointed.
My son and I visited OCS Car Sales in Hook following a telephone call to arrange a viewing.
Upon arrival a older male greeted us. He gave us the keys to the first car, (Signum), and told us to take a look. He then left the keys in a Saab and told us to have a look once we'd finished. Deciding that the Saab wasn't for us, we had a look at an Audi, however another customer arrived so we went off to think things over.
Upon return we'd narrowed it down to 2 vehicles and asked to test drive them both, (wouldn't buy an outfit without trying it on), & was told, "that's not how it works".
The reason we were cautious is that my son was concerned about the smoke upon starting the Signum as this could indicate valve-stem seals being worn. Potential DMF failure, a common fault on the 1.9cdti could have been confirmed upon driving. I was also interested in trying the Audi A4 to see whether I liked the drive quality and to compare them.
We had £3k cash to spend. We're taking our custom elsewhere.
