Horrendous experience

Horrendous experience, please avoid regardless of how good the deal may look. The change in attitude once they had my money was shocking!

Bought a 2011 Insignia (40k miles) - thought it was a good deal at the time, however quickly realised I had been conned.

As I got in the car (un-valeted!) for the first time I noticed one of the keys were broke, I immediately raised this with them and they explained this wouldn't be covered under the warranty! This is where I saw the change in attitude.

The car then wouldn't start as they had put NO fuel in it! They had to throw in £10's worth and jump start the car as the battery had flattened when trying to turn it over. I almost cried driving home as that 'new car feeling' had been completely ruined.

Drove it home and heard a humming noise coming from the engine - rang Kevin straight away who said he was busy and that I would have to ring back Monday and book it in the garage...

Dodgy dealer. Rude staff, Car lasted less than 2 months and no communication from their end. In February purchased a smart car on finance with a “1 year warranty”, in March we started noticing a rattling and contacted this company regarding this, they said they would get becalmed your is ASAP...they did not. purchased a Audi A3 for kevin at Leeds motor company and it could not have gone any worse! Car had to have one alloy wheels refurbished and a quick look at ? had car picked up as was working away, car came looked great THEN hole in windscreen no fuel and on way back home 4 mile limp mode. looking around the car shows one wheel different colour than the other 3 wheels? Bought a Toyota Aygo a month or two ago and dealt with a pleasant gentleman called Nick. From an initial enquiry over the phone to arrival at the forecourt to the eventual pick up of the car everything was done quickly, painlessly and professionally. I had no issues at all - infact I think I got a very generous part-ex deal.

this is my third car from them and i would go back very helpfull very happy with my latest purchase put new tyres on when they didn't really need to they was legal but still replaced them and put fuel in for me would recommend them . thanks .
Poor aftercare and totally not interested -
After purchasing a car from this dealer I have had numerous small issues in which the dealer is not interested in at all. I have polite and patient and been fobbed off in ever sense to the degree ive go to the finance company and my bank to start a dispute. They clearly do not want to communicate in any shape or form they will learn the hard way. I would not have bought the car based on the issues
leeds motor company for great cars, relaxed no pressure atmosphere, what more do you want ?
I was looking at for a specific model of car nationwide and found it at leeds motor company, great set of lads, professional but relaxed and easy going, no pushy sales pitch, bent over backwards to help me and made the whole experience a pleasure, the car is great and would certainly recommend.
