BUYER BEWARE

I purchased a second hand car from JGM Motors at Coalford Farm for my daughter in November 2017, the vehicle came with a 30 day warranty. The car turned out to be defective, not to a standard of mechanical worthiness that would reasonably be expected, the dealer failed to make good any of these problems or to honour his warranty. I gave the dealer every opportunity to repair the vehicle or compensate me for my losses, calling him 7 times, sending 5 emails and 2 letters by registered post before seeking redress through the small claims court. The County Court awarded a judgement against JGM Motors for the full value of my claim, but when the bailiffs went to enforce this judgement at the dealership where I bought my daughters car at Coalford Farm, they were informed that JGM ceased trading in October 2017. The company that is now trading from Coalford Farm is called JGM Car Sales and is not liable for the debts of JGM Motors.

Dodgy dealer - Don't risk it

2nd car from this dealer and will be going back
This is my second purchase from this family business and i cant sing their praises enough. My first purchase of slk 280 was taken into part ex against a 2011 x5 msport. Very helpful with the finance and bank details im self employed and there was nothing for me to apart from leave bank details with the office. Warning...Do not buy a vehicle from this place.
When I bought a car earlier this year everything seemed to go ok on the day but on the day after I agreed the sale they were on to me to pay the full amount, asking to ring my bank to hurry up the transfer. Good old fashioned service
