Not informed of the issues with the car- Very disappointed
Bought a car in September with a 3 month Warranty. Was told that nothing was known to be wrong and they did thorough checks before selling. Within the warranty, an issue did occur, that they fixed for free, replacing 2 parts. In December, just after my Warranty ended, the car broke down, my local garage believed the gearbox needed replacing. I rang Ivybridge and informed them that in the first 6 months, under the Consumer Rights Act, any issue assumed to be prior to my purchasing I am entitled to request a repair for. They argued with me and tried telling me that I would have to prove it was pre-existing despite the fact I informed them that they would have to prove it hadn't been an issue before my purchase. It turned out that the teeth on the gear selector had worn, and only costing me 260 pounds, I decided to just pay it myself, despite the fact it was pre-existing, to save hassle. I have recently had my MOT and it failed due to the exhaust (costing me 245 pounds) which was hanging off, as a previous owner
