Bad experience
Part exchanged a perfectly good vehicle, for a vehicle that cost an extra £2200 in work needed. Had no real time to look over vehicle, it was rushed, wanted to exchange there and then. Trusting it had mot 1 month previous.... We exchanged, things went wrong about a week later. Took car to main dealer, to find out what was wrong. To our surprise, it was to dangerous to drive home. Half the things wrong would not be covered on Warranty. We had work completed ourselves for peace of mind. Howard Smee cars, said that would refund some money. £440 for parts and labour, we had indecent garage price work for patent parts and labour. Their price £1200, which we found to be fair. We sent of all paper work to Howard Smee cars. We gave them 21 days to reply, needless to say we heard nothing. Even after returning their cheque. So you decide !!!
