Stay well away

During the purchase of a vehicle I saw it had an illegal tire fitted. I asked for this to be changed and was told no. I had to push to get it changed so I would be able to legal on the road. I arrived home to find that the vehicle had a fuel leak (there was a puddle on the floor of about 1lt) and diesel fumes had been coming into the car on the ventilation system. I called the company and they said to take it to my nearest garage to look at. I called them to give the quote. The member of staffed laughed at me saying it was ridiculous. I was told to take it all the way back to them for them to fix and they would get the part off a scrapped car. When I got back to the garage I told them I did not feel the car was of satisfactory quality, it was not safe or roadworthy and that I wanted a full refund. This was declined, I was told that 'I had to give them the opportunity to fix the vehicle first'. When I challenged this as per Sale of Good Act the member of staff just argued with me.

I have just recently purchased my 3rd car from Harlequin Motor Company, I have found the customer service very good, nothing too much trouble, after purchasing my recent car, it did have a problem with the sensor, they replaced it, they also replaced the wind screen wipers

I purchased a car for my wife from this company, numerous issues surfaced within a short period of owning it. Owner pretended to be the cleaner when calling on one occasion, and was belligerent when confronted in person. Do not buy from this company, you WILL regret it.
