Terrible After Sales Service
Do NOT, I repeat do NOT buy a car from this business.
My 17 year old grandaughter recently purchased a Renault Clio after taking it on a short test drive. She collected it on a Tuesday evening. The next morning she was driving down the A5 from school when the "ABS" and "Service" lights came on. The car had supposedly been serviced before she took delivery of it.
Having been assured, before her purchase, that any problems would be swiftly resolved, and if necessary a "courtesy" car provided if required to keep her mobile. the car was returned to the garage on Wednesday evening. The garage proprietor not only refused to give the car a diagnostic check to see if the fault indication were genuine or false, (did he know the answer already?) but also said that he could not provide a replacement vehicle.
He then went on to reduce my grandaughter to tears by making completely unfounded accusations that she had driven over speed bumps at speed, and told she shouldn't drive at more than 60mph. Large stretches of the A5 on her trip to school are dual carriageway, and what is the speed limit on a dual carriageway?
To top it off she had filled the car up with petrol at a cost of £42 and although the garage refunded the purchase proice of the car he refused to compensate her for the £42. A mater I shall pursue with Tradung Standards.
