After Sales Service? Er... no.
BUYER BEWARE! I had to get a CCJ to obtain a refund from Carpoint of Peterborough Ltd after they sold me a car that had a head gasket fault. This was not spotted at first because it had been disguised with a sealant. The staff were friendly and helpful to begin with, but this soon changed once the fault revealed itself. Emails, letters and phone calls were ignored, and if I did get a response it was uncooperative and evasive. I am sure Carpoint sells many cars that are “fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality” - but I would say this very firmly: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY WITHOUT HAVING A PROFESSIONAL AND WARRANTED INSPECTION DONE FIRST. If you don’t, and anything goes wrong, be prepared to receive a denial from Carpoint and a long road to getting the problem resolved.
