Buyer beware!

About 2 months ago I bought a Mini Cooper from Autohouse Bedfordshire. The day after I picked up the car, the engine light came on. They diagnosed the fault and agreed to fix it...it was an emissions fault. On the day I collected the car from its repair, my wife was pulled over by the Police due to smoke pouring out of the bottom of the car. The engine light was back on and the temperature gauge was on the red. We had the RAC tow the car back to the garage. The very next day after speaking to trading standards, I asked Autohouse Bedfordshire for my money back, which was my consumer right. I had a very abusive phone call with the manager (1 of 3 people who claim to be the manager!), who swore at me, called me names and told he would neither give me a refund or fix the car. In short, I spent the next 5 weeks trying to get a refund. After a lot of untruth from them, they eventually reaslied they were at fault and gave me a refund minus some expenses. My advice: DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!

Absolutely No Response!
Three e mails via the garage's web portal about a BMW M5 which despite three previous owners and high mileage seemed potentially reasonable value. None of those e mails were answered so I am absolutely none the wiser about whether or not they actually have or want to sell the vehicle. If it is this difficult getting a response about a vehicle I may be interested in purchasing, goodness knows what
