Avoid, avoid and avoid at all cost..!!

I saw an automatic Mini Cooper advertised online and was attracted by the low mileage and price. I rang and spoke to a salesman and asked a number of questions about the Cat D classification and was informed they have all the relevant papers/documents relating to the accident etc. He told me they repaired the car as well and all the relevant paperwork was with them.

I went to view the car with my daughter and asked to see the papers the salesman told me the boss had locked them in the safe etc but that he would provide it all to the AA Engineer when he comes to inspect it. He alps told me that it the report comes back negative my deposit would be refunded. The AA Engineer went and was not given any of the paperwork the salesman told me. In fact the AA Engineer found out the accident had happened to another part of the car and he was concerned that the car might have been damaged in two areas both driver and passenger side. As a result, the report was not conclusive about whether I should proceed with buying

I had high hopes to begin with. Auto Channel is supposed to be an AA Approved dealer, but l am not sure how they have held onto this status. The car l bought had repaired damage that was never bought to my attention at time of purchase, and missing interior trim that was promised continually until the warranty period expired and was never replaced at all. My trust in Auto Channel is almost zero

Helpful, get the impression they arent just trying to make a sale but are there r to find you what you want. Would I go again, of course and think anyone should go if your on the look out for a good car thats reliable and someone whose looking out for your interests
